But the problem is they\u2019re rubbing up against the Democrat voices, many of which you just read. I mean, that quote, if they go low, I\u2019m going to the gutter, I guess gone are the days of Michelle Obama where they go high,\u201d McEnany said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m not sure if those days were ever truly here, but at least they were in word rather than action. But I\u2019m struck by what some of these Democrats have told The Hill. There is a Democratic senator. People are going to get hammered if we make a deal with Republicans,\u201d McEnany said.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1983094\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>She was referring to Democrats keeping the federal government shut down for over a month to appease the far-left wing of their party.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSo they were afraid of getting hammered by their base. They\u2019re admitting that. Another person familiar with Democrat in the Senate, their caucus thinking said we would have enough votes if people were not terrified of being sent to the guillotine,\u201d McEnany said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThese people are so petrified of the same progressive left-wing flank that is animating the candidacy of Zohran Mamdani that they have to shut down the government and can\u2019t even get military families paid,\u201d she argued.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt is a really striking place for the party. This is something to watch because it could come back and bite Democrats big time going into next year\u2019s midterm elections,\u201d McEnany described.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>WATCH:<\/em><\/p>\n<div>\n<div><iframe src=\"https:\/\/share.grabien.com\/share?id=3633422&amp;userid=17447&amp;usertype=user&amp;loginid=15879&amp;playercolor=%23ee1a3b&amp;playersize=auto&amp;code=fac4e903d4012dd0801717a46390e190\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters says Republicans may outspend Democrats this election cycle, a dramatic reversal from past campaigns where Democrats often held the fundraising advantage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Speaking on Breitbart, Gruters argued Republicans are entering the midterm cycle with significantly stronger financial positioning and unprecedented coordination across the conservative movement.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Host Mike Slater asked Gruters to put the reported $70 million Democrats spent in Virginia\u2019s recent redistricting battle into perspective.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHow much money is that for the parties?\u201d Slater asked.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe DNC has minus 4 million [dollars], and it wasn\u2019t the DNC that plowed $70 million: It was the collective,\u201d Gruters said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSo, if you look at the collective on the right, we may have $800 million,\u201d he continued.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe collective on the left may have $350 million, and when you have the court, there\u2019s gonna be a court case that is ruled on in the next week or two, coordinated campaign limits, which will magnify that, which will allow full coordination and allow the parties to spend at the candidate rate, which is massive for us,\u201d he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhen you have that financial advantage, people, you know, people don\u2019t know that the Democrats routinely spend more than us on election cycles, because they have more massive donors and that will write massive checks,\u201d he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He said the RNC currently has \u201cabout $125 million\u201d on hand compared to what he described as negative cash reserves at the DNC.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) appeared on Fox &amp; Friends, where he took the opportunity to discuss significant issues affecting Americans as the country approaches the midterm elections.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cObviously we\u2019ve done a lot of work: The Big Beautiful Bill, the working families tax cut \u2014 all of the legislation has been geared towards the cost of living, affordability, bringing the cost of living down,\u201d he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe put in all those conditions in the economy to let it take off like a rocket, and we were doing that at the beginning of the first quarter, and then the Iran skirmish began,\u201d said the Speaker.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSo, when this settles down, gas prices come back down to earth, that means your grocery prices come down again because of transport costs and all the rest,\u201d he said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s going to be a big factor. The kitchen table issues are gonna decide the midterms.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re super excited about the midterms.
