The sick clip, titled \u201cHow to Kill Melania Trump\u201d and also circulated as \u201cWhere to Kill Melania?!,\u201d was released by the Tasnim News Agency, a mouthpiece closely tied to Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.<\/p>\n
It shows images of the first lady in her motorcade and at locations around New York City, specifically naming upscale designer stores she is known to visit, including Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.<\/p>\n
Red target-like circles are overlaid on the store signs as a limousine carrying Melania drives past.<\/p>\n
The video declares that these shopping excursions could be \u201csuitable for operations by global freedom fighters.\u201d<\/p>\n
It goes further, suggesting the use of a nerve agent to poison any clothes the first lady might purchase, specifically recommending the deadly VX agent\u2014an oily, odorless, and tasteless liquid\u2014to contaminate garments.<\/p>\n
The production also names three of Melania\u2019s personal stylists and proposes bribing them with large sums to carry out the poisoning.<\/p>\n
At the end of the roughly two-minute video, the threat expands to Barron Trump, who is 20 years old.<\/p>\n
The narrator intones: \u201cThis is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us.\u201d<\/p>\n
The East Wing and the Secret Service did not immediately respond to requests for comment from reporters.<\/p>\n
Both the first lady and Barron maintain full-time Secret Service protection.<\/p>\n
