We’ve all heard of people using a complete makeover to start a new life, but this might be the first time an animal avoided a literal deadline entirely because of a highly specific cowlick.
The internet is packed with strange viral sensations, but a 700-kilogram albino water buffalo from Bangladesh has easily taken the crown for the most practical use of internet fame. Living on a farm near Dhaka, the rare animal became a global celebrity overnight when locals noticed its pale pinkish-white skin paired with a prominent, sweeping tuft of golden-blond hair hanging right over its forehead.
The resemblance to Donald Trump was so undeniable that the nickname stuck instantly. Within days, the farm transformed into a full-on tourist hotspot, with crowds swarming the pens just to snap a photo with the self-appointed “president of the cows.”
But this story goes far beyond a simple meme. The buffalo was originally bought and raised for the traditional Eid al-Adha sacrifice. However, as the image below shows, his sudden status as a viral landmark changed everything. Because he was drawing immense public crowds and daily media attention, local authorities officially intervened. Instead of meeting his original fate, the buffalo was granted a lifelong pardon and permanently relocated to live out his days in peace at Bangladesh’s national zoo.
It turns out that a bad hair day isn’t always a curse. In a world where talent or beauty usually gets you noticed, this buffalo proved that having a world-famous comb-over is the ultimate get-out-of-jail-free card.
It definitely gives a whole new meaning to political immunity. If you had to pick one famous person’s style to get you out of a tough spot, who are you channeling?
