Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton forcefully pushed back during her congressional deposition, accusing House Republicans of using her testimony as a political distraction rather than a legitimate effort to uncover the truth about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Turning her attention to President Trump, Clinton claimed Republicans should question him directly under oath if they truly want answers about Epstein. She argued that relying on public statements instead of sworn testimony undermines the credibility of the investigation and called for equal scrutiny of everyone whose names appear in the available records.
Clinton further accused Republicans of conducting an investigation designed to shield political allies instead of pursuing accountability wherever the evidence leads. She maintained that no individual, regardless of political party or status, should be exempt from investigation if credible evidence exists.
