State of Mexico – A devastating multi-vehicle collision occurred on Wednesday, November 20, on the Mexico–Querétaro Highway, claiming the lives of 19 people and causing major disruptions to traffic. The tragic incident took place at kilometer 059+000 in the municipality of Huehuetoca, where emergency responders rushed to the scene after reports of a serious highway crash.
Following the collision, the trailer came to rest across the highway, completely blocking all three north-to-south lanes and forcing authorities to partially close the route while rescue operations and investigations were carried out. Emergency personnel, firefighters, medical teams, and law enforcement officers worked for hours to assist victims, recover the deceased, and clear the wreckage.
